Clubs

There are several clubs in America for white shepherd owners: The United White Shepherd Club is our breed's club representation with the registry United Kennel Club (UKC). We are recognized by the Federacion Cynologique Internationale (FCI) as a distinct breed called the Berger Blanc Suisse, aka White Swiss Shepherd. Our beed is recognized worldwide as a separate breed from the German Shepherd Dog. Joining a WSS club is one of the best ways to show support and meet others who love our wonderful White Shepherd breed. The American Kennel Club (AKC) does not yet recognize our breed and thus we do not register our dogs there. Please be cautious as to clubs other then those listed here.
